Sergei Sobyanin gives details on Moscow’s participation in an industrial exhibition in Shanghai
There are almost 4,600 industrial enterprises operating in Moscow. Seven of them presented their products at the China International Industry Fair, held in Shanghai.

Moscow has participated in the China International Industry Fair in Shanghai, Asia’s largest industrial event. The news was announced by Sergei Sobyanin in a post in his channel in the MAX messenger.

“Our main goal is to show that the capital of Russia today is not only a major metropolis, but also a center for the development of high-tech industry and the attraction of investment,” the Mayor of Moscow wrote.

The flagship site of the city’s high-tech industry is the Moscow Technopolis special economic zone. More than 230 companies are located there, 124 of which have resident status.

In total, almost 4,600 industrial enterprises are now operating in Moscow. In Shanghai, seven Moscow companies presented their products — advanced developments in the fields of industrial automation, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and materials science.

One Moscow company brought to the exhibition vertical installations and filtering complexes for air purification in industrial facilities. Another introduced a self-contained fire suppression device adapted to protect electric vehicles, power generation facilities, and residential and commercial buildings. And a third Moscow manufacturer exhibited elements made from industrial monocrystals for use in vibration and pressure monitoring systems in facilities operating at extremely high temperatures.

“The Mosprom center plays an important role in promoting the capital’s exporters. In the first half of 2025 it helped to organize 11 business missions abroad and ensure the participation of Moscow companies in two major international exhibitions,” added Sergei Sobyanin.
