Moscow Technopolis has been recognized as a leader among Russian SEZs in terms of efficiency — Sobyanin

For the fourth year in a row, the capital’s Special Economic Zone ranked first among all technology and innovation-focused SEZs in Russia. The news was reported by Sergei Sobyanin in a post on his Telegram channel.

Today Moscow Technopolis SEZ is pushing forward the development of Moscow’s innovative production and human resources potential.

“More than 230 companies have localized their production here, producing strategically important products, including latest-generation medicines, medical equipment, microelectronics and photonics, unmanned aircraft systems and components for electric cars,” Sergei Sobyanin wrote.

Moscow Technopolis residents regularly develop new technologies, scale up production and create high-tech jobs.

Last year alone, more than 4,900 jobs were created in resident companies of Moscow Technopolis SEZ, and 70.6 billion rubles were invested in the implementation of new projects.
