The city supports the development of industrial enterprises and takes steps to introduce residents of other countries with Moscow-made products. Sergei Sobyanin described the export activities of Moscow companies in a post on his channel in the MAX messenger.
“In the first half of 2025, the food processing, instrumentation, energy engineering and pharmaceutical sectors accounted for 60 percent of exports by the capital’s manufacturing enterprises. The greatest growth was in the instrumentation product sectors, including control and measuring devices and optical equipment: exports in this sector increased more than threefold, and the main markets were Turkey, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China and Myanmar,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

More than 80 percent of pharmaceutical exports are shipped to friendly countries, with Congo and Nigeria being major purchasers. They mainly buy vaccines, medicines and diagnostic reagents.
The Mosprom Center supports the capital’s exporters and helps expand the geographical range of supplies. In the first half of 2025, it organized 11 business missions abroad and arranged for Moscow companies to participate in two major international exhibitions.
Following the participation by an international business mission in the Gulfood exhibition in Dubai, a Moscow producer of soft drinks signed a contract for the supply of products worth a total of 500 million rubles to the UAE. And during a mission to Bangkok, another Moscow company agreed to supply decorative finishing materials worth more than 12 million rubles to Thailand.
