The capital’s digital solutions attracted the attention of experts from China, Brazil, India, the United Arab Emirates and Malaysia.

Moscow continues to develop its digital solutions and share its experience in creating them with other Russian regions and friendly countries. For 2.5 years, delegations from 27 countries have been interested in the capital’s innovative technologies during business meetings. The news was announced by Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.

“The city’s projects have attracted the attention of experts from countries such as China, Brazil, India, the United Arab Emirates and Malaysia. Promising Moscow developments have already been presented at more than 100 specialized international events,” said Natalia Sergunina.

Events included major technology trade shows. These include Smart Nation Expo in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Gitex Global in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Smart Cities India Expo in New Delhi, India.

In June, the capital presented advanced solutions for megacity management at the conference “Digital Industry of Industrial Russia” in Nizhny Novgorod. These include the Mos.Tech platform, as well as laptops with their own operating system and software package.

Partners from Qatar, Oman and Saudi Arabia were particularly interested in the “Digital Twin of Moscow” platform. It is an exact 3D virtual reality replica of the city with all buildings, communications and infrastructure. The project helps authorities to make decisions on infrastructure development.

Delegations from Algeria, Ethiopia and Indonesia offered to share experiences in the use of artificial intelligence. Today, about 100 developments based on it are used in the capital. Among them are a voice assistant of the citywide contact center, a chatbot on the mos.ru portal and a school service for learning mathematics.

Moscow is also strengthening cooperation in the field of digitalization at the level of intergovernmental commissions. They are attended by experts from Kazakhstan, Malaysia and Serbia.

Last year, Moscow received a certificate of the international UN initiative “Joining Efforts to Build Smart Sustainable Cities” for effective implementation of technologies in different areas of city management. The jury evaluated 90 indicators that cover key areas from economy and environment to society and culture.
