The Manege will host an interactive exhibition, That very Moscow

From August 1 to August 31, the Manege Central Exhibition Hall will host That very Moscow, a large interactive exhibition for the whole family. It will be one of the key platforms of the Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030 forum-festival.
This year’s exhibition will present the city’s main achievements in three important areas — transport, urban planning and industry. The exhibition will present a human-centered approach to the development of the capital. It will also confirm Moscow’s status as a leader in many indicators of urban infrastructure and one of the most modern and comfortable megacities in the world.
The total area of the exposition will be 11,000 square meters. Visitors will be able to learn more about transport infrastructure, metro, urban planning, the renovation program, the new standard for the city’s development, high-tech industry and much more.
This year’s event will go beyond the exhibit hall. For the first time, eight simulators of urban transportation and construction equipment will be installed in the street exhibition. Inside, more than 10 thematic zones with interactive displays dedicated to different aspects of the capital’s development will open, and more than 50 exhibits dedicated to Moscow’s high-tech industry sector will be presented.
“The support measures and the development of urban infrastructure, which we have introduced and are implementing under the leadership of Sergei Sobyanin allow us to form a model of the capital in which the key priority is the welfare of residents. The exhibition, which we are holding in the Manege for the third year in a row, is generating great interest among residents and visitors to the city. Last year, 357,000 people visited the exhibition. We expect that this year’s exhibition will be equally successful,” said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
Visitors will also be able to attend lectures, master classes and performances by artists from the Music in the Metro project. A family leisure center will be opened for young citizens and their parents. It will have an area of 1,500 square meters, and will have entertainment facilities for children up to 12 years old, the most active of whom will receive gifts.
“The capital city pays special attention to creating a comfortable urban environment for residents. This year will be the first time that the theme of urban planning has been presented on such a large scale at the exhibition in the Manege. It will have various interactive displays enabling visitors to try their hand in the role of a city designer and learn more about the development of the capital and innovative construction technologies,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Urban Planning Policy.
The exhibition will be open to the public from 12:00 to 22:00 on weekdays and from 11:00 to 21:00 on weekends. Monday is a day off. The address of the site is 1 Manezhnaya Square. Admission is free.
