Visit museums for free

With the new Moscow Museum Week project, Muscovites and tourists can manage their leisure time and visit all the exhibitions of interest during seven days for free. They can also attend Moscow museums free of charge during the Museum Night, Art Night events and on the City Day. Museums are now free for children and teachers can schedule their lessons there.

You can visit any municipal museum free of charge during the third week of each month, with each museum offering one free day.

A walk with Pushkin and Goncharova

Moscow was the city where Pushkin and Goncharova met each other for the first time and started their relationship. Let's have a walk over the most interesting places related to the splendid couple.

Vysotsky's Moscow

The fate of Vladimir Vysotsky ― a poet, a writer and an actor ― was tied to Moscow from the first day until the last moments of his life. He used to sing songs about it, get inspiration from it. Come and see the milestone places of the actor's life with your own eyes.

Tropinin's Places

Vasily Tropinin, 'the chief portrait artist of Moscow', as the contemporaries used to call him, moved to Zamoskvorechye in 1855 and lived close to an old merchant manor.
On your way to the Museum of Tropinin, take a walk around Moscow as the artist saw it.

Yesenin and Duncan — the Love Story

The American dancer used to call the Russian poet her 'angel' and 'devil' and he, in turn called her 'a naughty girl'. Sergei Yesenin and Isadora Duncan first met at a Bohemian party, got married quickly and divorced just as quickly.
This route follows the love story of the 'hooligan from Moscow' and the 'divine barefoot dancer'.
