Which metropolitan theaters were awarded the Golden Mask award
A total of 40 awards were awarded.

Five theaters affiliated with the Department of Culture of the City of Moscow received the Golden Mask Russian national theater award in eight categories. The ceremony took place in the Zaryadye Concert Hall, with a total of 40 awards presented.

The Stanislavsky Electrotheater received four awards. “Pinocchio. Theater” was named the best short show; Dmitry Kurlyandsky was awarded for the best work of the composer for the music for the show “Octavia. Trepanation”. The same show “Octavia. Trepanation” brought the best production designer award to Stepan Lukyanov, and Anastasia Nefedova was awarded as the best costume designer for the play “Pinocchio. Theater”.

The show “Octavia. Trepanation” brought an award to Arina Zvereva as well. She was awarded with a special prize by the musical theater jury for a deep character development and expansion of modern vocal techniques.

“Gogol-Center” won in two categories. Ivan Vinogradov was awarded as the best lighting designer for the play “The Petrovs having flu”, and the actress Lyudmila Gavrilova was awarded in the category “Best Supporting Actress in Drama” for her role in the same play.

One prize was awarded to the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Musical Theater.  Oksana Kardash was awarded the best female dancer in ballet and modern dance for the role of Kitri in “Don Quixote”.

The Praktika Theater and Dmitry Brusnikin's Workshop also won one prize. Polina Bakhtina was awarded as the best designer for the play “Payoff”.
