In total, about 400 athletes are to take part in the competition.

On Victory Day, Grebnoi Canal in Krylatskoye district will host competitions among canoeists and kayakers, as well as the traditional Serebryanaya Ladya rowing relay. About 400 athletes will take part in competitions.

The competitions will start at 09:00 am. Canoeists and kayakers of four age groups — boys and girls aged 15 to 16, juniors up to 19 and up to 24, as well as men and women over 24 will be the first to start. They will compete to win in relay races with 4 to 400 m distance.

The sports festival will proceed with Serebryanaya Ladya regatta starting at 12:00 pm. Rowers in two age categories — born in 2001 and under, as well as born in 2000 and up will compete for the challenge cup in the relay with the distance of 500 m.

The regatta winners will be awarded a cup shaped as a silver rowboat. It was made in 1933, when the first competition took place. Since then, year after year, the name of a new winning team is engraved on the award.

On the Victory Day, Grebnoi Canal in Krylatskoye district will also host a ceremony of launching a wreath in memory of warriors fallen during the Great Patriotic War. All regatta participants and guests will enjoy field kitchen foods and a special performance. During the festivity, sport veterans, including the Olympic Champions, will also be congratulated.
