Moscow to host the Acrobatic Rock-n-Roll and Boogie-Woogie World Cup
Top-rank pairs of athletes will compete in the most difficult main class discipline of acrobatic rock-n-roll.

The Megasport Sports Palace will host the Acrobatic Rock-n-Roll and Boogie-Woogie World Cup. More than 100 athletes from 11 countries such as Austria, Hungary, Germany, Italy, Russia, Finland, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden and Ukraine will take part in the competition.

Top-rank pairs of athletes will compete in the most difficult discipline of acrobatic rock-n-roll, that is main class featuring flights, spins, flips, multiple flips, jumps and other complex elements.

This year, three-time European Champions Darina Kozlova and Alexei Kondrashin, and Champions of Russia Margarita Charkovskaya  and Ivan Kudryashov will represent Russia at the competition.

The Boogie-Moogie championship will be held among adults and juniors. The audience will watch performances of the International Competitions Champions and Prize-winners Svetlana and Alexei Gavrilov, and the winners of the Junior World Cup Diana Leontyeva and Fyodor Klimov.

The qualifying stages will start at 10:30 am with the opening ceremony starting at 06:00 pm. Tickets are required but they are free and available at the Megasport Sports Palace ticket offices.

Acrobatic Rock-n-Roll has been recognised in Russia since 1986. Ivan Yudin and Olga Sbitneva are the only five-time World Champions.
