Fourteen Moscow exporting companies have presented their creations at the Arab Health 2019 international technology expo in Dubai. Moscow producers also held 228 meetings with potential foreign clients, partners and investors. The most active participants were companies from India, the UAE and Egypt.
“This year’s first international exhibition in Dubai is promising for our exporters. They presented over 30 technological creations and held talks with representatives from 36 countries. Following all business meetings, contracts are expected to be signed worth a total of over $45 million,” said Moscow Deputy Mayor Natalya Sergunina.
At the stand under the common brand Made in Moscow, the capital’s companies presented their wares which are successfully competing with the most advanced foreign goods. For instance, a resident of the Strogino technopark displayed the Vit-Medical vacuum device which will become an alternative to traditional things such as bandages. It is designed to help heal all types of wounds three to four times faster as compared to other methods.
An agreement was also signed between a Moscow developer, Lab of Morphological Data Classification, and Dubai-based Nomad Networks educational centre. The two companies agreed to jointly promote the Third Opinion SaaS platform for medical imaging on the UAE market. Using AI algorithms, the system detects abnormalities on X-rays as well as eye-ground and other medical images. The Third Opinion is currently being tested at over 20 Russian medical institutions. The neural network has already processed over 300,000 medical images. The platform accumulates the experience of doctors and medical researchers.
