On 28 January, the Magnum Live Lab/ 19 experimental facility is to open at the Dome pavilion of Zaryadye Park for the first time. Three photographers, namely Thomas Dworzak from Germany, Alex Majoli from the United States and Newsha Tavakolian from Iran, will prepare an exhibition about modern Moscow. They will take photos in various city districts, focusing on historical and modern architecture, public spaces and also local residents.
Everyone is welcome to watch how the photos are developed and readied for the exhibition, City Tourism Committee sources noted. The lab will eventually turn into an exhibition floor and a documentary film will be produced at the end of the project.
People are also invited to attend a workshop by photographers and project supervisor Nina Gomiashvili.
The lab will work until 9 February.
