Zaryadye Park is one of the three finalists in the Surface Travel Awards annual international competition.
“I am glad to see that Zaryadye continues to win prizes and awards, including international awards. Global recognition is a sign that this huge amount of work has been done right,” said Moscow’s Chief Architect Sergei Kuznetsov.
Apart from Zaryadye Park, CPH-Ø1 in Copenhagen, Denmark, and Oxygen Park in Doha, Qatar, were also included on the shortlist of the Park or Public Space category.
The competition is sponsored by Travel Surface Magazine together with Travel + Leisure magazine. It looks for the best travel-related projects. The jury assesses transport, hotels, resorts, parks and travel apps.
This year, Zaryadye Park has won ArchDaily’s award for the Best Public Space Project as well as the best Visitor Attraction in the InAVation Awards 2018 international competition. This summer Zaryadye has also been shortlisted in the World Architecture Festival in the ‘Landscape: Urban Projects’ category.
