On the fourth Saturday of March, Moscow will host a traditional event –Theatre Night. At dozens of Moscow theatres, festival visitors will be able to attend open rehearsals, premiere shows, tours, workshops and meet-and-greets.
This year, the festival’s theme will be “Theatrical Dynasties: Theatre Legends.” Almost 60 Moscow theatres will participate in the event by organising repertory performances, workshops, meet-and-greets with famous actors, playwrights and members of theatrical dynasties, plus various behind-the-scenes tours.
Participation is free. To attend any of the events, please register in advance by calling the theatre of interest or visiting its official website.
Registration will begin at noon, on 20 March.

A screening of the documentary film Family Business: Tabakov Theatre at the Tabakov Theatre (the large rehearsal hall on Malaya Sukharevskaya Square)
The Opera Lover concert at Moscow Helikon-Opera Music Theatre

Cet Enfant (This Child), a play by the students of the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (the Joseph Reichelgaus studio) at the School of Modern Drama Theatre

Participants of the 2018 Moscow Cultural Forum, which will be held at the Manezh Central Exhibition Hall, will be able to attend Theatre Night without having to leave the venue.

10.15 pm–10.45 pm Scenes from the play Run, Alice, Run, timed to Vladimir Vysotsky’s 80th birthday, by the Moscow Theatre on Taganka
10.50 pm–11.20 pm Vertinsky: Ariettes, a theatrical and circus performance by the Antique Circus of Slava Polunin’s International Theatre and Cultural Centre
11.25 pm Poetry and musical programme of the Praktika Theatre

1.20 am–2 am Modern Concert, a musical performance on 20th century history, by the Iyulansambl theatre company, which was created at the studio of Viktor Ryzhakov, the artistic director of the Vsevolod Meyerhold Centre, at the Moscow Art Theatre School.
The last event to be held within the framework of Theatre Night will end at 3 am, on 25 March.
