Over 5,000 people visit tubing hills at VDNKh daily.

From January 10, people in Moscow will be offered the opportunity to take free tubing rides at VDNKh from 11am to 4pm, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin wrote on his official page on VKontakte social network.

The Raketa (Rocket) complex of tubing slides opened at VDNKh at the end of last year. The slides are located on Industry (Promyshlennosti) Square, around the Vostok-1 launch vehicle model, in front of the Cosmos pavilion.

The complex consists of a big slope and also a smaller one too. The large one is 20 metres high and 180 metres long and the small one is 12 and 120. The tubings are delivered to the top with the help of a drag lift.

The complex design and construction are based on cutting-edge technology. It is an all-weather facility and operates through severely cold days and thaws. This year the park will be open until February 18.
