Ten streets to be closed off for the Circle of Light Festival
Most of the street sections will be completely closed off to traffic with Novotsaritsynskoye Motorway open for public transportation only.

Sections of ten city streets will be closed off to traffic for the Circle of Light Festival. Between 23- 27 September from 5 pm to 11 pm a section of Petrovka Street from Kuznetsky Bridge to Teatralny Proyezd will be closed. A section of Novotsaritsynskoye Motorway from Shipilovsky Proyezd to 1st Radialnaya Street will be closed off to traffic, but remain open for public transportation.

On 23 and 24 September from 3 pm to 11 pm four sections will be closed off to traffic as well, namely Akademika Korolyova Street (from Botanicheskaya Street to Argunovskaya Street), a passage from the side of Ostankinsky square (from 1st Ostankinskaya Street to Akademika Korolyova Street), Novomoskovskaya Street (from 1st Ostankinskaya Street to Akademika Korolyova Street) and 1st Ostankinskaya Street (from Botanicheskaya Street to the passage near the Ostankinsky square).

On the same days four more sections of Moscow streets will be closed off as well, namely Botanicheskaya Street (from 1st Ostankinskaya Street to Akademika Korolyova Street), Dubovaya Roshcha Street (from the passage on Dubovaya Roshcha Street to Akademika Korolyova Street) and Novomoskovskaya Street (from 1st Ostankinskaya Street to the passage on Dubovaya Roshcha Street), plus the passage on Dubovaya Roshcha Street (from Dubovaya Roshcha Street to Novomoskovskaya Street).

The 7th Moscow International Circle of Light Festival will be held from 23 to 27 September. The Ostankino Tower will be transformed into the Eiffel Tower, Dubai’s skyscraper Burj Khalifa and Tokyo, Toronto and Shanghai television towers. The facades of the Bolshoi and Maly theatres will serve as screens for light shows on loneliness and love, as well as scenes from various productions of plays by Russian playwrights. A fountain show will take place at Tsaritsyno, and a 30-minute long pyrotechnical show will be held at the Strogino flood plain.
