Investment web portal to launch a section for Moscow’s special economic zone
Visitors can learn about available tax benefits, the utility infrastructure, and other incentives for resident companies.

A new section with the latest information on Moscow’s special economic zone (SEZ) has opened on the city investment website, Moscow Government Minister and Head of the Department for Economic Policy and Development Vladimir Yefimov said.

It includes a number of headings, such as Description, Land Plots, Engineering Infrastructure, Office Infrastructure, and Benefits.

The Moscow investment portal is a mechanism for interaction with investors, which has proved its efficiency. We can guarantee that the effort to improve and expand the portal will soon yield more positive results,” he noted.

Since its launch in February 2014, it has received 3.15 million visits, with over 9,000 entrepreneurs registering personal pages, Director of the City Investment Management Agency Leonid Kostroma said.

About 5,000 unique users, 20 percent of them foreigners, visit the website every day,” he added.

Most in demand are a page on tenders, an investor’s roadmap, the city interactive investment map, news, announcements, corporate success stories in Moscow, and online services. The information is in six languages: Russian, English, Arabic, Spanish, Chinese and German.

The website regularly updates its statistics and analyses on Moscow’s socioeconomic development, city real estate offered for sale, and an investor’s roadmap with data on what is needed for starting a business in Moscow. It publishes descriptions of current investment projects and the Moscow Government’s measures to support operating industries and new projects.
