New bus route to link Planernaya metro station with Vilis Lacis Street
Large-capacity buses will serve this route daily from 6.30 am through 9.55 pm.

The new No 896 bus route will link Planernaya metro station with Vilis Lacis Street in northwestern Moscow, helping passengers reach sport, medical and education centres in neighbouring districts.

“Mosgortrans is always trying to streamline current routes and consider new ones, as the public expresses the need,” First Deputy Moscow City Transit Authority Director General Boris Tkachuk noted. “Now, residents in Northern Tushino district will be able to reach the Lazurny swimming pool, and Mendeleyev University of Chemical Technology students will be able to get to their Tushino campus from Planernaya metro station and back. The new bus route is to begin service this Saturday, 20 May,” Mr Tkachuk added.

Large-capacity buses will operate on this route daily from 6.30 am through 9.55 pm.

The route starts from Planernaya metro station, its terminus, passing along Vilis Lacis Street towards the new Bassein (swimming pool) Lazurny bus stop. After that, the one-way route will again run on Vilis Lacis, Geroyev Panfilovtsev and Turistskaya streets towards the Poliklinika/Studgorodok (Outpatient Clinic/Campus) bus stop. Buses will then return to Planernaya metro station along Vilis Lacis Street.

Detailed information about the new route is posted on the Mosgortrans website.
