The results of the international a cappella singing contest, Moscow Spring A Cappella, will be announced at 2 pm on 8 May at the final gala concert in Gorky Park. Russian pop singer Valeria and rap singer Mot (Matvei Melnikov) have confirmed their participation in the concert, which will also feature the competing vocal bands from Russia and overseas. TV presenter Yana Churikova will be the host for the concert.
The jury will announce the Grand Prix winner and the groups that won the first, second and third places in the categories of one to five, six to ten, and 11 and more contesters. The jury of Russian and foreign singers, composers and music producers will select the prize holders. The Grand Prix winner will be chosen by the jury and the audience together. Supporters can vote for their favourite band online on the contest’s website https://acappella.moscow/ until 7 May (the voting will stop at 11.59 p.m.).
The A Cappella singing competition is held as part of the Moscow Spring festival. The event will feature 1,500 performances, including Russian and foreign songs in the A Cappella arrangement. Vocal bands from 12 countries are performing daily in Moscow streets and squares, at shopping centres, railway stations, and even on rooftops and balconies.
