Level 85 of the Ostankino Television Tower will open to visitors for the first time on 5 May, with a new technical excursion that will give visitors the chance not only to get a bird’s eye panoramic view of Moscow, but also discover just how the Television Tower itself functions from the inside. The new excursion marks the tower’s 50th anniversary.
The technical excursion first acquaints visitors with an exhibition on the tower’s history, then, with a guide, they go up 85 metres, and from there, high-speed lifts take them to the viewing platform, 337 metres above the ground.
The technical excursions will be hourly from 10am to 9pm from Mondays to Thursdays, and from 10am to 10pm from Fridays to Sundays.
Groups should be made up of no more than 10 people.
Tickets can be purchased and information about the availability of places can be obtained on the site. Additional information can be obtained from the call centre specialists at +7 (495) 926-61-11.
