Giant digital cards to congratulate Muscovites on May Day
Video cards with tulips and white doves will appear in the city already this Friday.

Twenty digital billboards will decorate Moscow to mark 1 May, Russia’s Spring and Labour Day. The media façade of the Central Telegraph building will also be transformed into a huge 17x26 m card featuring bouquets of tulips and white doves, birds of peace, flying in the clear sky.

According to the Moscow Department for Media and Advertising, the congratulatory cards will be put up on Friday, 28 April.

“The videos will run until 2 May,” said the department’s press service.

Digital cards measuring 3x6 m on billboards will also be placed on the Third Ring Road.

For Victory Day on 9 May, Moscow will be adorned with over 1,100 themed posters and digital billboards, which will begin to appear all over the city from 27 April, along with portraits of Victory Marshalls, war chronicles, and children’s drawings devoted to the event.
