The farm will also get two Muscovy ducks, a present from the Zoo.

On 29 April, Moscow Zoo workers will organise a friendly spring clean-up (subbotnik) at the City Farm in VDNKh and decorate the area with rose bushes. The zoo will also present the farm with two Muscovy ducks, May and Maya. The event will start at midday.

The Muscovy duck is a large duck from Mexico and South America that was domesticated by the ancient Aztecs. These birds can be of various colours and have red odd warty growths on their faces.

City Farm is a family educational centre where kids can see farm animals such as cows, sheep, goats, donkeys and birds.

The second wave of subbotniks in Moscow will be held on 29 April and will include a spring clean-up in the Neskuchny Garden, a quest subbotnik in Krasnaya Presnya Park and a fitness day in the Hermitage Garden.
