Over 10,000 entrepreneurs have participated in electronic auctions to sell or rent property in Moscow since 2014. This figure was announced by Natalya Sergunina, Moscow Deputy Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations, at the All Russian exhibition forum, State Order – for Fair Orders.
“Thanks to online services, auctions have become much more convenient for the buyer,” Ms Sergunina noted.
According to her, this is due to a unified standard for the auction procedure, which was approved in 2015. “We have standardised participation and have consolidated information about the sites that are available for auction at a single website: the Moscow Investment Portal. At the moment, there are more than 3,000 locations for rent listed there,” the Deputy Mayor said.
Currently, more than 3,000 sites are listed on the Moscow Investment Portal for sale or rent. Anyone interested, both legal entities and individuals, can participate in the auctions.
