Moscow parks cancel all entertainments

The Moscow Department of Culture has cancelled all entertainments from 3-4 April in city parks in recognition of the tragic events in St Petersburg.

The Moscow Department of Culture expresses condolences to the families and friends of those who were killed or injured in the St Petersburg metro blast.

Sergei Sobyanin earlier expressed his condolences to the St Petersburg Governor Georgy Poltavchenko and residents.

“I would like to express my profound condolences to you and to all St Petersburg residents following this tragic blast in a metro train that has caused so much loss of life. I ask you to pass on my words of sympathy and support to the victims’ families, and my wishes for a swift recovery to those injured. The people of Moscow are with you in this difficult hour,” the Mayor wrote.
