School pupils to submit research papers at Kurchatov Conference

An academic conference to demonstrate the use of breakthrough technology in teaching

Moscow will host a conference called “Kurchatov Project: from Knowledge to Practice, from Practice to Results” under a city project “Kurchatov Centre of Continuous Convergent Inter-Disciplinary Education,” reports the Department of Education press service.

On 4-5 April 2017, teachers will conduct English language workshops at School No. 2030, coaching participants in the use of modern educational equipment. School pupils will present their research and development projects, including “Synthesis and Studying the Properties of 3D Nano-Structural Metallic Coatings and Nano-Wires”, “Physical-Chemical Properties of Non-Woven Materials”, “Developing a Piezo-Electric Generator of Sound Signals”, “Observing and Studying the Corpuscular Component of Background Radiation” and “Human DNA Studies”.

“The aim of the conference is to show the potential of innovative educational technologies and opens up new opportunities for personal improvement and experience exchanges,” press service sources noted.

The city conference is a traditional venue bringing together talented and creative educators and school children.

The conference opens at 3.30 pm on 4 April.
