The construction site will occupy more than 180,000 square metres.

A new residential area is planned at 9 Gzhatskaya Street in the west of Moscow, according to a recent decision of the Urban Planning and Land Use Commission.

The total construction site will occupy 183,100 square metres, of which 165,100 square metres will go to housing, including 12,000 square metres to implement the city’s housing programmes.

Social infrastructure will be created as well, including a school for 300 schoolchildren and a kindergarten for 150 children.

The old industrial facilities that currently stand on the site will be demolished shortly.
