New semi-express route links six metro lines
The route links the Filyovsky Park and Kashirskaya metro stations, with designated transit lanes and fewer bus stops to reduce trip times.

The No. 908 semi-express bus route that entered service on 17 March links several districts in southern and western Moscow between the Filyovsky Park and Kashirskaya metro stations.

“The No. 908 bus route is the first semi-express route linking the Kakhovskaya, Zamoskvoretskaya, Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya, Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya, Sokolnicheskaya, Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya and Filyovskaya metro lines. Passengers can reach various districts and change to other buses or metro stations,” said Mosgortrans (Moscow City Transit Authority) Director General Yevgeny Mikhailov.

Large-capacity buses operating on the route ensure fast and convenient rides, he added.

The No. 908 bus route makes the following stops: Kashirskaya metro station, the Leo Tolstoy Library, a medical college on Simferopolsky Boulevard, Nakhimovsky Prospekt metro station, a weaving factory, Profsoyuznaya metro station, the Cheryomushkinsky marketplace, Leninsky Prospekt, Universitet metro station, the Moscow State University Library, Lomonosovsky Prospekt metro station, Romain Rolland Square and Filyovsky Park metro station.

Buses depart from the Filyovsky Park metro station from 5:05 am through 22:21 pm and from Kashirskaya metro station from 5:45 am through 11:01 pm.

This is the tenth semi-express bus route to date. Semi-express buses use designated transit lanes and make few stops, allowing passengers to reach metro stations more quickly.

Two semi-express bus routes were launched in 2016. The No. 906 route links the residential block No. 1 in Shcerbinka with Ulitsa Akademika Yangelya metro station, and the No. 911 route connects Salaryevo metro station with Vnukovo airport.
