Eighty new parks will be developed in Moscow over the next few years, Deputy Mayor for Urban Development and Construction Marat Khusnullin said while speaking at the MIPIM international expo of real estate and investment in Cannes, France.
“Our objective is to make the city a comfortable place for living. We constantly have to change things, launch new projects and continue what we have already started. Among our activities is the creation of green spots,” Mr Khusnullin said. He also added that about 80 such places have already come about in Moscow over the last few years or so.
Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said earlier on that this year Moscow will renovate 80 streets with a total length of 50 kilometres, improve over 30 parks and develop 50 new green spots.
