Moscow will host the annual Legends Cup on 18 and 19 April. The football competition will bring together national teams from Russia, Italy, Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany and an international football all-star team.
Players must be 35 and older, and must have played for a national team. The Russian team will feature Valery Karpin, Dmitry Alenichev, Yegor Titov, Yevgeny Aldonin, Konstantin Golovskoy, Dmitry Khlestov, Konstantin Zyryanov, Oleg Kornaukhov, Alexei Smertin and Alexander Filimonov.
The first matches will take place at Megasport Arena on 18 April. According to the draw results, Russia will play the Netherlands and the international all-star team. The Netherlands will field Frank de Boer, Pierre van Hooydonk, and Arthur Numan, while the latter team will feature Youri Djorkaeff, Jari Litmanen, Gaizka Mendieta, Gianluca Zambrotta and Vincent Candela.
Portugal, Germany and Italy will play Group B matches on the same day.
On 19 February, the group winners will vie for the Legends Cup, while the remaining teams will compete for a place on the podium.
