Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo Park to host a romantic excursion on 14 February
Visitors will learn about romantic relationships of famous historical figures that began in the park.

Muscovites are invited on a romantic walk to celebrate Valentine’s Day. On 14 February, Mospriroda will offer the excursion Love Story at Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo Park.

The nature and historical park in Moscow’s north-west has a long and interesting history. The excursion will include stories of how the park’s beauty influenced the fates of famous persons and a tour of the places where their romance began.

One will learn what gifts General Fyodor Glebov gave to his wife Yelizaveta Streshneva, the heiress of the Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo estate; whom Leo Tolstoy had a date with in the park; and what is happening with the park’s inhabitants – animals and birds ‒ on this day.

The meeting time is 2 pm by The Swan Princess (Tsarevna Lebed) spring. To sign up, call 8 499 557 0348.
