Moscow to host FIS Cross-Country Continental Cup
Russia’s best skiers will gather in Moscow. Admission will be free.

International Ski Federation (FIS) Continental Cup for cross-country skiing will be held on 12 February at Krylatskoye Rowing Canal.

The event will involve Russia’s top athletes who will compete in individual freestyle races.

The public is invited to see these athletes race. Admission will be free.

Schedule:

1 pm – opening ceremony

1 pm-1:24 pm – women’s quarterfinals

1:30 pm-1:54 pm – men’s quarterfinals

2 pm-2:18 pm – semifinals

2:28-2:38 pm – finals

2:40 – closing ceremony

3 pm -3:15 pm – awards ceremony

Moscow hosted the competition for the first time in 2011 at Gorky Park, followed by the FIS Cross-Country World Cup in the unique category ‘city event’ hosted by Luzhniki Olympic Complex on 2 February 2012. In 2013, the competitions were hosted by the National Exhibition of Economic Achievements (VDNKh).
