The souvenir showcases, which have opened at four Moscow metro stations, sell over 50 items, including appointment books, pens, smartphone covers and thermos jugs with the Moscow Metro and Moscow Transport logos. They can be found next to the help desks at the Arbatskaya metro station on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Line, Paveletskaya station on the Zamoskvoretskaya Line, and the Pushkinskaya and Ploshchad Revolyutsii stations.
“The metro is selling memory sticks, notebooks, appointment books, smartphone covers, thermos jugs, raincoats and other items with the Moscow Transport logo. We think these are wonderful New Year’s presents,” said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor and Head of the Transport and Road Infrastructure Development Department. “In January, the range of goods on sale at these locations will double. Buyers will be able to pay with credit/debit cards or with the contactless payment system on their devices beginning next year.”
Maxim Liksutov added that the first flagship store selling souvenirs with the Moscow Transport logo will open at the Mayakovskaya station in February 2017. The first souvenir showcase opened at the Vystavochnaya station.
