It will run until mid-March.

A new winter season will begin on November 4 at Father Frost’s Moscow residence in the Kuzminki-Lyublino Museum-Reserve, with the estate’s branches in city parks opening in December, as announced by Deputy Moscow Mayor Natalya Sergunina.

“The program will include activities for the whole family: performances by musical groups, interactive plays based on fairy tales, workshops on painting New Year’s ornaments and much more,” Natalya Sergunina says.

The winter season at the Kuzminki-Lyublino Museum-Reserve will run until mid-March. An immersive quest called The Mystery of the Four Elements has been prepared for visitors. Children will embark on an exciting adventure with Ded Moroz (Father Frost), Snegurochka (Snow Maiden), Baba Yaga and a snowman in three of the estate’s traditional wooden towers.

On November 21 and 22, the estate will host the nationwide Moscow Moroz Fest, dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. The festival will bring together winter wizards from different parts of the country, each introducing visitors to their region’s New Year traditions.

A concert program titled Ball of Ice Lanterns is scheduled for December 26 and 27, featuring theatrical sketches, dance performances, and light and laser shows.

As the tradition goes, the lights on the Christmas tree at the main estate will be ceremonially switched on every weekend in December, accompanied by traditional circle dances. Special New Year performances will also be held on December 31 and January 1, 7, 9 and 10.

Other Moscow-based Father Frost residences will also join the project. The estate in Izmailovsky Park will begin welcoming visitors on December 1, followed by the estates in Mitino Landscape Park and Olympic Village Park on December 5. Tickets and further information are available on the main residence’s website and the parks’ online platforms.

The third season of the Winter in Moscow project will begin on December 1, bringing together more than 500 venues across the city. Ice rinks, ski trails and snow tubing hills will be set up in different parts of the capital, while pavilions and markets selling products from local brands will open and cultural, educational and charitable events will be held.

Acts of kindness will be at the heart of the event program. As in previous years, the Houses of Kindness run by the Moscow Helps project will operate at Moscow Seasons festival venues. Visitors will be able to send packages and greeting cards to participants in the special military operation and residents of border regions. Gifts and invitations to New Year performances will be prepared for the families of military personnel.

The City of Caring People charity festival will take place in December. The Kind Christmas Tree charity campaign will also be held for the fifth time for children supported by Moscow-based non-profit organizations.
