Where to exercise for free in Moscow

Moscow continues to implement programs aimed at developing mass participation sports. After the summer season, residents wishing to return to regular exercise can attend free classes with professional instructors.
The main goal of Moscow’s sports development strategy through 2030 is to increase the number of free training sessions, participants, and instructors.
Sports Weekend: yoga, stretching and fitness boxing
The Sports Weekend project is launching its autumn season. Active recreation enthusiasts can take part in yoga, stretching, fitrock, Zumba toning, hot barre, Pilates, fitness boxing and other activities. Training sessions are held at 15 venues across the city, including the Southern and Northern River Stations, Central Market, Skolkovo Technopark, Depo. Moscow food mall, Strogino Cultural Center, Central Children’s Store on Lubyanka and the Shchyolkovsky, Riviera and Mozaika shopping and entertainment centers.



My Sports District: from football to table tennis
Moscow residents are also invited to the final training sessions of the summer season of the My Sports District project. Classes focus on team and racket sports, including football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, and table tennis. Training sessions are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 80 venues in 11 administrative districts of the capital.

This autumn, Moscow residents will be able to continue training in team sports at free sections run by the Moscow Committee for Sport (Moskomsport). For example, residents are invited to free football training sessions. Football provides a comprehensive workout for the heart and muscles, develops coordination and tactical thinking, and teaches effective teamwork.
Classes are held at the Dinamika, Triumph, Rechnoy, Belye Medvedi, and Malino sports complexes. Training sessions are also available at Tushino Stadium and at the sports ground at 27 Molodtsova Street, Building 3. In Zelenograd, Moscow residents can attend sessions at the Savelki sports ground at Land Plot No. 2, Ozernaya Alley. Football enthusiasts are also invited to training sessions at the following addresses: 165e Dmitrovskoye Motorway, Building 8; 169b Dmitrovskoye Motorway; and 11a Sinyavinskaya Street.
This autumn, the Moscow Committee for Sport (Moskomsport) project offers not only football but also volleyball training. Volleyball helps strengthen the shoulder girdle and deep core muscles.

Volleyball training is available at the Ramenki, Na Taganke, Dinamika, Triumph, Belye Medvedi, Sodruzhestvo, and Malino sports complexes.
Table tennis is recommended for developing vision, fine motor skills, strategic thinking, and reaction speed. Table tennis training sessions are held at the Na Taganke, Dinamika, Triumph, Odissey, Edelweiss, Krasny Oktyabr, Yauza, Atlant, Solnechny, Sodruzhestvo, Dom Sporta, Lazurny, Olimpiyets, Akvamarin, Kachalovsky, and Rekord sports complexes. Classes are also available in the sports zone of the Mesto Vstrechi Patriot district center.
