Time to Be Together: A new Summer in Moscow season kicks off in the capital

Today, the capital has launched the 3 rd season of its big project Summer in Moscow, to run until September 6 across more than 500 venues, mostly in the outskirts, for the most part in local parks, boulevards, festival sites, and public spaces throughout the capital.

Time to Be Together is the season’s motto and the leitmotif of its cultural, charitable, educational, sporting and other events that unite people of different generations around the idea of ​​mutual assistance, communication, and joint recreation. Throughout the summer, Muscovites and tourists will be able to spend time with family, friends, neighbors, and like-minded people at festivals, including major celebrations, such as Theater Boulevard, The Times and Epochs, and Mansions of Moscow, or to take part in other events dedicated to history and culture, or engage in summertime outdoor activities.

Together with the heroes: extensive support

A key focus of the season is support for special military operation (SMO) soldiers as patriotic events, meetings with SMO participants, Heroes of Russia, and representatives of the Russian Military Historical Society, will be held in various districts throughout the summer.

The Houses of Good under the Moscow Helps project will continue their charity campaign for Muscovites to deliver humanitarian aid and gifts, send messages of support to military personnel and children living in the new regions, or to bring pet supplies that will be donated to animal shelters.

Together with opportunities: partnership with the city

Together with art: from street theater to classical music

The 3 rd Theater Boulevard International Open Festival, to run May 30 through August 30, will definitely be the season’s cultural highlight. It will offer street performances, musicals, one-man shows, operas, ballets, and the Diligence traveling stage shows — both in downtown and outside.

The festival will embrace Moscow’s major theaters. The Summer in Moscow events will run throughout the city — with music shows, master classes, film screenings, workouts, and family-oriented programs in courtyards, parks, and local venues — for residents to get to know their neighbors better and spend time together with them next to their homes.

Summer in Moscow is the jewel in the crown of the season, which has grown into the capital’s cherished tradition and trademark; its current motto is Time to Be Together.
