The charity sim racings combined sporting formats and a social mission with donations contributed for each unique participant via the mos.ru charity engine.

The Spring in Moscowand Easter Gift festivals (the Moscow Seasons cycle) featured charity driving simulator races that raised over RUB 1 million. The money was donated to foundations supporting combat veterans, special military operation soldiers, and charitable organizations via the related engine on the mos.ru web-portal.

At the Spring in Moscow patriotism festival, charity initiatives were aimed at supporting combat veterans. For example, the sim racing attracted donations paid for each unique racer via the mos.ru charity engine. In total, the fest raised RUB 663,500, the proceeds were sent to two veterans’ foundations such as Memory of Generations, which provides combat veterans with medical treatment and advanced prosthetics, and People’s Front. Everything for Victory!, which supports frontline soldiers and those affected by the fighting.

A similar event was held earlier at the Easter Gift festival, with sim racings taking place at twelve Moscow Seasons venues, which featured auto sim racing zones with professional racing simulators. Participants competed on an upgraded virtual Moscow simulating track through 1 st Raushsky Pereulok. The races were held in three classes (Practician, Pro and Masters), with a one-attempt-per-day rule in effect and a separate category for women.

Following the Easter Gift festival, donations totaling RUB 420,500 were directly donated to nine charity foundations represented on the mos.ru platform, namely to Memory of Generations, Live! providing assistance to children with oncological blood diseases, and Family Together Foundation, which helps children during long-term treatment not to be separated from their parents.

Support was also provided to Miroslava Sergeenko’s Onkologica Foundation (for adult cancer patients), Giving Food (providing food to lonely seniors and disabled people) and Vera, which specializes in helping seriously ill people both in hospitals and at home. A significant portion of the proceeds were donated to the Wild Nature Hospital Foundation, which is involved in the conservation and treatment of wild animals, Dogs Who Love, (helping homeless animals), and the Global Alliance for Assistance (running projects for science and education).

Anyone can help these and other trusted organizations through the dedicated mos.ru charity page featuring more than 100 verified non-profit organizations in the capital. A donation can be made in just a few clicks; just select a program or category.

The mos.ru charity engine and its functional development are managed by the Moscow Department of Information Technologies and the Public Relations and Youth Policy Committee, with the support of the Moscow Public Chamber.
