An expo of historical military equipment will open on Red Square on 7 November. Moscow residents and visitors to the city will be shown “Katyusha” missile launchers, Soviet tanks and armoured vehicles. The exhibition is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the historic parade on Red Square.
The vehicles will first pass by the Kremlin walls, and then they will be put on display. The exhibition will feature 26 units, including Т-34 and Т-60 tanks, ZIS-2 and ZIS-3 guns, GAZ-67 and GAZ-АА vehicles and an IMZ M-72 motorcycle.
The exhibition will be divided into four sectors according to the chronological and technical features, and its participants – mechanics, drivers and guides – will be dressed in military uniform.
The Moscow Public Relations Committee has announced a tender on organising the exhibitions. Applications will be accepted until 14 October.
