National Running Day 2016, to be marked on 25 September
Anyone who has properly trained and has a doctor’s certificate indicating their physical fitness can take part in the race. Athletes with disabilities are invited to run the race at Izmailovsky Park on the same day.

On 25 September, VDNKh will host National Running Day 2016, which will begin with a series of runs in the square outside Pavilion No. 75. The winners for all distances in every age group will be awarded certificates, medals and cups, and runners-up will be given certificates and medals. All contestants will be given commemorative certificates.

The opening ceremony will begin at 11:30 am. A 500-metre run will start at 11:45, a one-kilometre run will be at noon and a three-kilometre run will start at 12.30 pm. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 1:30 pm.

Anyone who has trained and has a medical certificate can run in the race. In Moscow, fitness checks will be carried out at Shchemilovsky Sport Complex on 19-23 September from 10 am until 4 pm and on 24 September from 10 am until 1 pm. Non-residents will be able to register at the site of the event on 25 September from 8:30 am until 10:30 am.

Athletes with disabilities can run at Izmailovsky Park on 25 September beginning at 11 am. Registration is from 9 am until 10:30 am. The starting point for the runs is outside the park administration office. Runs will start at 11:30 am.
