A miniature square with three railway stations has appeared on a scale model of Moscow
Work on the scale model is scheduled for completion next year. Once finished, the miniature copy of Moscow will exceed 900 square metres in size.

A new item on the architectural model of Moscow was presented at House on Brestskaya (Dom na Brestskoi). The area of Komsomolskaya Square with three railway stations and Leningradskaya Hotel has been added to the miniature model of the city.

The finished part of the model, which includes 9,000 buildings, streets and squares and is 121 square metres in size, has been on display at Pavilion No 75 at VDNKh since last year, showing central Moscow within the Boulevard Ring and the Garden Ring.

Today, all finished parts of the model are 337 square metres in size and another 400 square metres will be completed by the end of the year. About sixty specialists are working on the model every day. The model of the eastern part of the city is finished and now work is underway on the area between Prospekt Andropova and Volgogradsky Prospekt, a part of Leninsky Prospekt, and Pyatnitskaya Street.

Next year, when the work is over, the architectural model of Moscow will become the world’s largest: its size will exceed 945 square metres.
