At the forum “Moscow 2030” models of the capital’s hospitals of the future were presented

Guests of the forum “Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030” in Gostiny Dvor will be able to travel in time and take a look at the new image of the capital’s leading hospitals. Thus, the models of future modern complexes of N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine, the V.P. Demikhov Municipal Clinical Hospital, the Moscow Clinical Research Center “Hospital 52” and N.F. Filatov Children’s Municipal Clinical Hospital are represented on the central site of the Forum. New medical facilities offer the best technologies, state-of-the-art equipment, thoughtful logistics, advanced work standards and a comfortable environment for patients and staff. This was told in the Department of Healthcare of the city of Moscow.

Thanks to the new complex with an area of over 100 thousand square meters, the V.P. Demikhov Municipal Clinical Hospital will become one of the leading multidisciplinary medical care facilities of the capital due to its technical characteristics and equipment. The facility will provide comprehensive medical care, including the most complex high-tech interventions. The latest achievements in medical logistics and innovative technologies have been taken into account in the development of the project. This will maximize comfort for both patients and medical staff.
“On one of the platforms of the forum ”Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030” in Gostiny Dvor the future modern multidisciplinary clinical complex of our hospital is presented. It will be located in the South-Eastern District. The building will be designed in such a way as to ensure the most efficient logistics, it will take a minimum amount of time from the moment a patient arrives to the delivery of primary care. It is planned to pay great attention to the fact that people can receive the necessary assistance in the shortest possible time without hospitalization. The huge complex will include more than 30 operating rooms, over 15 clinical departments, a laboratory, and comfortable seating areas. In addition, the patient in the medical institution should be surrounded with a comfortable environment and cozy atmosphere, this is very important, as the success of treatment may depend on the psychological state. This is the concept we will adhere to in our new hospital,” Sergei Arakelov, Chief Physician of the V.P. Demikhov Municipal Clinical Hospital, said.
The facade of the new complex of N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine will resemble the structure of a molecular lattice, and in the center of the building there will be an installation in the form of a pulsating heart. It will house the main clinical and diagnostic units of N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine, including surgical and therapeutic departments, reanimation, operating rooms and tomography rooms. Each of these concepts is aimed at implementing modern infrastructure solutions and introducing advanced technologies to improve the efficiency of medical care, comfort and level of patient care.

The new building of N.F. Filatov Children’s Municipal Clinical Hospital will significantly expand the opportunities for medical care for children. It will house modern high-tech operating rooms, a clinical and diagnostic department, a short-term hospital, as well as special wards where children can stay with their parents. Special attention will be paid to creating a comfortable environment: there will be playing areas and barrier-free access for patients with low mobility.
“We now have the future of pediatric medicine in front of us, a new building that should begin accepting young patients in the next few years. Here, on the area of more than 100 thousand square meters, new technologies will be introduced, modern equipment will be placed, comfortable conditions for children will be provided, and not only inpatient treatment but also outpatient care will be available. Today in our hospital, we are actively expanding opportunities for children to receive the necessary treatment without hospitalization, on an outpatient basis. For example, we have a day hospital and specialized treatment centers,” Ilya Samorodov, Head of the pediatric department, pediatrician at the N.F. Filatov Children’s Municipal Clinical Hospital, said.
The exposition, interactive zones, lectures and master classes in Gostiny Dvor will be open until September 14 every day except Monday, Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, said.
“The Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030" is a city-wide opportunity to experience the future by trying out its technologies that are already in use in the capital today. Children and adults will be able to interact with robots and artificial intelligence systems, watch the work of modern unmanned vehicles, play on high-tech sports fields, explore new innovations in the field of education, medicine and industry, immerse themselves in VR-space and much more.
The large-scale forum, which is held as part of the “Summer in Moscow” project, will last until September 14. Dozens of venues will host cultural, sports, educational and other events dedicated to the development of one of the world’s most modern megacities.
