The new trains are unparalleled in Russia and the CIS. Their highlights include wide doorways, comfortable passenger compartments, walk-through carriages and advanced systems of air conditioning, ventilation and air disinfection. Handrails in the carriages will have a warm coating to prevent passengers’ hands from getting cold. The carriages will be equipped with touch-sensitive information monitors, and the interactive metro map will help passengers find stations, get directions and calculate travel time. In addition, the carriages will be equipped with cameras that record the face of the passenger calling the conductor and the surrounding situation. The passenger compartment will be lit by LED lights with adjustable lighting.
