A Trip Around the World: Moscow Jam Festival to culminate in a carnival parade
Dance flash mobs, free jam and other surprises await participants.

A large carnival parade, called A Trip Around the World, will take place on 7 August, the closing day of the festival Moscow Jam. Gifts of Nature. It will bring together the performers who worked at the festival’s venues.

The carnival procession will set off from the Russia-Germany site on Pushkinskaya Square at 2:30 pm. “Bavarians,” “Spanish,” “Chinese” and other participants will dance to the accompaniment of the Mosbrass Orchestra, while extreme sport enthusiasts – roller skaters, skateboarders and BMX cyclists – will demonstrate their skills. Dance flash mobs and free jam await carnival goers during brief stops at the festival’s venues: Russia-Spain (Tverskaya Street), Russia-China  (Kamergersky Pereulok) and Flower Square (Manezhnaya Square). The final dance at Flower Square promises to conclude with a thrilling surprise.

The carnival extravaganza will mark the closing of both the Moscow Jam Festival and the entire summer cycle of Moscow Seasons. In August, there will be one more large-scale festival, Back to School, devoted to preparations for the upcoming school year. It will open the autumn festival season.
