State-of-the-art Ivolga 3.0 train delivered to Manezhnaya Square for the Moscow Urban Forum

The front car of the Ivolga 3.0 train is displayed on Manezhnaya Square; earlier, a Moscow-2020 electric train car has been delivered there as well, both being outdoor exhibits of the Manege Station exhibition to be held in August in the Manege Central Exhibition Hall as part of the Moscow Urban Forum (MUF). Visitors will be able to walk the cars’ interiors and take pictures.

“We pay great attention to safe and comfortable traveling as Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin tasked us. So, metropolitan passengers are carried by the best Russian-made vehicles today. We are proud of the latest Moscow-2020 and Ivolga 3.0 trains indeed and want as many people as possible can get to know them better. It is these cars that will be highlighted at the Manege Station exhibition, a venue of the Moscow Urban Forum 2023,” said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Moscow Mayor for Transport.

They were delivered directly from the manufacturers, namely the Tver rail car manufacturing plant (Ivolga 3.0) and Metrovagonmash (Moscow-2020); mounted on the haulers, they were carried almost throughout the capital to arrive at the entrance to the Manege Station exhibition.

The ground floor will feature six exhibition spaces, including a tunnel model for the fifth Moscow Central Diameter (D5) under construction, plus the zones focusing on some other MCDs, the Big Circle Line (BCL), and the Moscow Central Circle (MCC), in addition to expositions dedicated to terminal, station and road projects. Those visitors who wish to know about job offerings in the Moscow transport sector are welcome at the Moscow Transport Means People stand.

The exposition enables, in particular, movement between locations in smaller cars styled to look like real-world Moscow-2020 and Ivolga 3.0 trains. Visitors will also see a multimedia show, including a 37-meter hologram, projected on a display as high as a nine-story building.

The 12 nd Moscow Urban Forum is to be held at the largest venues, namely, in the Zaryadye Park, Luzhniki Olympic Complex, Manege Central Exhibition Hall, and Gostiny Dvor and will be the greatest event in the history of the forum.
