View from the river: the Moscow Transport app helps you choose a river cruise
In summer, Muscovites and tourists can choose a river cruise to embark on. Some of the routes go through the historical center of the city, introducing the passengers to its landmarks. There are also offers for those who want to admire nature. The Moscow Transport app will help you choose a route for your cruise.

The Moscow Transport app now has cards with detailed information about various Moskva River cruise routes. Passengers can use them to learn about the stops on route and the city’s landmarks they are about to see from the boat’s deck. The cards also have the boat’s schedule, its name and operating parameters. On top of that, there’s the trip duration, info on transfer to other river transport lines and the route’s schematics.

Tap the looking glass icon in the top right corner of the screen to view the route info. Enter the route name into the search field that appears. After that, a route card will pop up on the bottom of the screen, detailing the boat schedule and describing the route from one pier to another.

“We’re adding new functions to the Moscow Transport app. The River Transport sections now has route cards with all the data one might want. That will enable users to learn everything about their river cruise and envision their route. After launching our electric vessels, we’re going to add the first regular river transport route to our app. As instructed by the Moscow Mayor, we continue developing convenient services for passengers,” said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Moscow Mayor for Transport.

You can also use the Moscow Transport app to buy riverboat tickets. Just enter the pier you want into the search field or find it on the interactive map. Use the vessel you want in the pop-up window and tap Buy Tickets. You will be redirected to the Suda Suda! website, a specialized service for river transport ticket purchases. Specify the number of tickets you want and confirm payment to finish the transaction.

You can download the Moscow transport app for free from RuStore, App Store, Google Play and AppGallery.

“River cruises around Moscow are getting more popular with each year. We’ve made routes more accessible and attractive, established a uniform ticketing system and a single ticketing service (Suda Suda!), made trips safer and more convenient. You can order a nice trip with an enlightening guided tour. As instructed by Sergei Sobyanin, we continue developing leisure river transport in Moscow,” said Maxim Liksutov.

Right now, the Moscow Transport app has info on eight operating river transport lines. The following cruise routes are on the cards: Istorichesky, Severny, Tsentralny, Krugovoy, Kolomensky, Zapadny, Serebryany Bor, Northern River Station — Khimki.
