Fan ID: why and how to get

Fan IDs can now be requested in any My Documents center. To apply for a Fan ID, a sports fan will need to present an identity document and have a user account on the public services website.

Previously, it was necessary to file an application with the public services portal and then to confirm the identity in one of the My Documents flagship offices or the Public Services Center at VDNKh. Now, after filing an application, a fan can confirm identity at any suitable public services center; alternatively, one can apply for a Fan ID by visiting any My Documents office.

What is Fan ID

A Fan ID is a document required for visiting football matches of the Russian Premier League and buying regular or season tickets. It is issued electronically; after issuance, it will be available on the user account on the public services website under Fan ID. If you’ve bought a ticket and indicated the holder, the system will generate a QR code for the holder to be admitted to the stadium. Use of other persons’ QR codes is prohibited.

How to apply for Fan ID 

Online

Visit the public services website and select Fan ID. Confirm your personal and contact details and upload your photograph. Then you will receive a notification inviting you to visit a My Documents office to prove your identity. You need to have a passport on you (a birth certificate for children). Tell the officer that you need to confirm your identity to get a Fan ID, the officer will verify your data, with the process taking two to three minutes. After that your Fan ID will appear on your user account on the public services portal.

In My Documents centers

Fan IDs can be issued in any of the My Documents centers.

Please mind that applicants will be photographed. Parents or other legal representatives can arrange Fan IDs for children under the age of 14; they should come with the child to take a photo and bring the original birth certificate. After issuance, the Fan ID will be available on the user account on the public services website within two to three minutes.

My Documents offices offer more than 280 services; 99 per cent of them are provided without any reference to the place of registration. The district centers are open daily from 8:00 a. m. until 8:00 p. m. The flagship offices and the Public Services Center at VDNKh are open to visitors from 10:00 a. m. until 10:00 p. m.
