Melon and watermelon markets opened in Moscow. “As Moscow tradition goes, melon and watermelon markets open right after the VDV Day. This year, their number remains more or less unchanged compared to 2021: there are over 200 of them. They are operating all over the city,” said Alexei Nemeryuk, Moscow Government Minister, Head of the Moscow Department of Trade and Services.
This year, Muscovites can buy a great variety of melons and watermelons that come from Rostov-on-Don, Volgograd, Astrakhan, other cities, and from Dagestan. Vendors can provide certificates for their products.
The sales outlets are all done in a uniform style that Muscovites already know. There are displays where customers can learn the business hours and prices. All sales staff wear uniforms and have medical certificates.
