A modern seamless screen has been installed there. Video reels, presentations and light shows were updated for the new equipment.

The Model of Moscow pavilion on the Lilac Alley opened after its inner works had been updated. On May 23 - 31, its main screen was replaced by a more modern, seamless one. That was revealed by Sergei Levkin, Head of the Moscow Department of Urban Planning Policy.

“The new screen is bigger (12 x 1.7 meters), with better resolution (7,680 x 1,080 pixels), which makes the images brighter and more saturated, visible from every area of the pavilion,” Mr. Levkin said.

All the light shows, presentations, video reels and education materials were re-formatted to fit the new equipment and its technical parameters.

In the fall of 2021, the pavilion was closed down for a few week to modernize the model itself. Over 300 objects were brought in line with the current look of Moscow, adding new residential complexes at Krasnaya Presnya and Leningradsky Prospekt.

The model of Moscow was first created in 2012. Right now, the total footprint of the Model of Moscow exposition is 429 square meters.

The Model of Moscow pavilion is open every day except Mondays 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The entrance and all services are free of charge.
