The professional community noted Moscow's achievements in business and interregional tourism.

Moscow has won the Russian Travel Awards as the Business Tourism Leader. The award was also given to the joint Moscow-St. Petersburg project "Two Cities — Million Impressions." The industry participants named it the best interregional tourism project in 2021.

Business (or MICE) tourism is one of the most sought-after options for business. Moscow plays in two directions: it unites the tourist business community and tells about its opportunities in holding and organizing big events.

The project "Two Cities — Million Impressions" was launched last year. Moscow and St. Petersburg agreed to create a single tourist region to attract more tourists and offer a richer cultural program.

The project offers weekend tours, 5-6 day’s routes. The main focus is unusual sites, locations, thematic offers (shopping, New Year's tours, trips with children, and so on). The project partners are hotels, attractions, tour operators. They bring new unique offers to the project and provide tourists with a loyalty program.

The Russian Travel Awards aim to develop and promote domestic tourism and the hospitality industry. The candidates are nominated by organizers of professional domestic competitions and awards, compilers of ratings in the field, as well as professional associations. The Russian Travel Awards finale is organized by the Saint Petersburg Committee for Tourism Development.
