Moscow Transport app wins the World Summit Awards

Moscow Transport app was distinguished as one of the best Smart Settlements and Urbanization projects of the World Summit Awards international competition of innovative projects.

“You can use the Moscow Transport app to pay for a ride in public transport using the Po Puti service, sign in Face Pay, activate remote topping up for your Troika Travel Card and many more. Our service makes the process of navigating in Moscow much easier, which was acknowledged by international experts. We’ll keep working on making our app better as a MaaS service and keep adding new features to boost the mobility of Moscow citizens,” said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Moscow Mayor for Transport.

The Moscow Transport app surpassed 182 foreign projects and entered the top 40 list of award winners.

World Summit Awards is a unique award system created under the auspices of the UN World Summit on the Information Society. Since 2003, it’s been helping to assess and promote digital innovations.

Earlier, the Moscow Transport app won the International Association of Public Transport UITP Awards 2022.
