Sergei Sobyanin told about the design of the Yakhromskaya station of the light green metro line

The installation of a unique panel has been completed at the Yakhromskaya station being constructed on the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line, as Sergei Sobyanin wrote on his Telegram channel.

"In 1947, Moscow turned 800 years old, and there was a big preparation for the celebration. Post-war renewal works were carried out. By the Day of the City, the famous Seven Sisters and the monument to Yuri Dolgoruky were laid. The Dynamo Stadium hosted a great sports festival. Fireworks were launched in the evening. These and other events were reflected in a big composition measuring 160x5 meters by architects Nikolai Shumakov, Alexander Nekrasov and artist Alexander Rukavishnikov," the Moscow Mayor wrote.

The station is being constructed next to 800-letiya Moskvy Street. That is why such a design was chosen. After the opening, more than 270,000 residents of the Dmitrovsky, Beskudnikovsky and Vostochnoye Degunino districts will be able to save up to 15 minutes on trips to the city center.

In addition to the Yakhromskaya station, the Lianozovo and Fiztech stations are being constructed on the new section of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line. They are to be launched in the fall.
