One-off mosaic panel adorns Troitskaya line station — Sergei Sobyanin

A ​​120 m2 mosaic panel has been set to decorate the passage of Universitet Druzhby Narodov station, which is currently under construction on the Troitskaya metro line, as announced by Sergei Sobyanin on his Telegram channel.

It actually extends to further represent the overall concept of the station itself, outlining the world’s largest cities to symbolize both the unity and the diversity of peoples and cultures of all continents.

Made from several thousand glass elements, it has been placed along the entire 50-meter wall, the installation process having lasted about one month.

“Universitet Druzhby Narodov station on the Troitskaya metro line is almost ready. Finishing work is underway in the passenger area and technical premises; and they are installing engineering systems. We are also putting the surrounding area in order,” wrote the Moscow Mayor.
